Urban Planning education in the Climate Emergency

Which teaching methods and contents are appropriate for a future-proof urban design and planning education in view of the climate emergency and how findings from science can be adequately incorporated into these is at the center of this research interest. Methodological aspects are examined, formats such as living labs are evaluated, and new linkages between teaching, research and society are sought and tested in new formats. The scientific reflection of this activity is of central importance for its further development.
