Stefanie Ruf graduated with a Master of Science in psychology focusing on human performance in socio-technical systems from TU Dresden in 2019, where she had previously finished her Bachelor's degree as well. From 2016 to 2021, she worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Assessment and Intervention at TU Dresden, where she completed her PhD on the just allocation of road space and cyclists’ subjective safety. In 2021, she joined the Chair of Urban Design at the Technical University of Munich as a research assistant.
