Topic: The aim of the study is to present and evaluate the organisational development of the regional management of the Ingolstadt region. This public-private partnership between the local companies and local authorities is a pilot project in the field of cross-thematic regional development.
Brief description: Within the framework of the National Urban Development Policy of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs (BMVBS), the report evaluates the work steps of regional management to date. The starting point is the topic "The future of the city is the region", which is particularly relevant for the Ingolstadt region with its strong district capital Ingolstadt and its more rural districts. To this end, interviews were conducted with members and non-members of the association in order to form a basis for the association's organisational development.
