2009-2011 Value added competence of the Ingolstadt region

Topic: The structural change towards a knowledge-intensive economy poses great challenges for companies and regions. The study develops possible ways to manage this structural change together with the knowledge carriers of the Ingolstadt region.

Brief description: The study presents an approach to identify the existing skills of employees, companies and research institutions in the Ingolstadt region in order to generate new value added or to increase the existing value added potential by expanding the value added fields. The study describes a network analysis of companies, research institutions and start-ups in the region, a regionalised input-output analysis and a series of workshops to intensify cooperation. Recommendations for action for the regional management of the Ingolstadt region are derived from this.
