On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Moll Group in 1994, the Moll KG founded a fund at the Technische Universität München with total assets amounting to 1,000,000 German Marks.
Purpose of the foundation
The foundation funds students from Poland, Russia, the Czech Republic and Hungary who were first able to study in Germany after the political changes in the late 1980s, and since 2007 for students from Israel. The overall aim is to promote better intercultural understanding. The foundation awards 1-year scholarships to students from the universities of Wrocław, Budapest, Rostov-on-Don and Tel Aviv who study architecture at the TUM with a specialization in historic building conservation, or who study inorganic chemistry.
Housing: the Willi Graf e.V. hall of residence on Hiltenspergerstraße 77 in Munich (Willi Graf was a student member of the “White Rose” resistance group) offers living accommodation for recipients of the scholarship for a duration of one year.
Internships: Recipients of the scholarship are offered a job placement during the vacation period at a company in the Moll Group, or at an architecture office in Munich or in a public authority conservation department.
