Lectures in Open Space Planning

Bachelor level, German only

We define open space planning as a subarea of landscape architecture that deals 1. with the social tasks of open spaces (open space theory) and 2. with the spatial distribution of open spaces in cities and urban landscapes (open space structures). Open space planning works thereby only indirectly on the actual object planning of individual sites, but rather on fundamental spatial and cultural questions of urbanism and landscape development.
