"Munich Plan" – New Exhibition Sheds Light on Munich's Urban Development

Research, Exhibition, Publication |

The exhibition "Munich Plan - Stadtgrundrisse - Urbaner Raum | Stadtstruktur | Gebäudetypologie" opens today at the Local Building Commission (LBK). The exhibit presents detailed groundfloor plans of nine urban areas in Munich's city center, which were created between 2011 and 2021.

The plans in the scale 1:500 are supplemented by photographs and models that were developed in the context of the publication "from the room to the city" at the Chair of Urban Planning and Housing at the TUM School of Engineering and Design (ED).

The exhibition can be seen from April 16th to June 19th, 2024, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Munich Local Building Commission (Blumenstr. 19). In addition, the exhibition offers guided tours every Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Prior registration is required.
