WS 2016/ 2017 | Exercise I - Formfinding

Topic

Once you are familiar with digital modeling using primitives and Boolean operation, one quickly encounters the limits of these tools. Free amorphous three-dimensional shapes are possible only with very complex geometric additions or Subtractions. But here too, the forms are limited to the geometry of the basic shapes of these modeling tools. Alternative techniques taught in this module include extrusions, rotations, Lofts, NURBS Surfaces etc.
