Good architecture typically comes from a founding concept. To represent this foudning idea, the architect uses a variety of different representation methods, such as the sketch, the scale drawing, and the "physical" model. Today, the new digitally generative methods are also available, such as the rendering.

Rendering is defined as the conversion of design ideas using a 3-D Models in compelling visualizations and images. The focus of the course is to generate meaningful visualizations using 3D Studio Max. In this seminar, the student will be introduced to the visualization program 3D Studio Max, will be shown how a high quality rendering can be generated from the 3D model and how this image can be further processed via other programs, such as Photoshop for example.
