Information session: Housing in Munich

More and more students come to Munich to study. More than 90 percent of students in Munich have to look for accommodation on the private real estate market, which means less than 10 percent of students well get a room in dorm.

The TUM Housing Search Assistance team is here to support full-time students and International Center exchange students at TUM in their search for apartments in and around Munich. For this coming summer semester, we will hold two info-sessions on “Accommodation in Munich” for TUM freshmen and newcomers.

These sessions provide students with useful tips, like how to apply for an advertised apartment, how to contact the property owner/manager, how to master German bureaucracy (registry Residence Registration Office) and how to extend a visa, permit of stay, etc.

The info-sessions take place on 20.03.2018 (in English) and on 27.03.2018 (in German). Both sessions will be held on Tuesday from 2 pm to 4 pm at lecture hall 0999. The maximum number of participants is 100. Please register online.
