Caribbean Winter School 2018


The aim of the Caribbean Winter School 2018, held from February 19 until March 11, 2018, is to discuss new design strategies for district completions of Havanna, where economic and sociological change and the growth of the metropolis are expected. This means not only a renewal of the old town but also a higher density of suburbs to avoid urban sprawl.

A MSA WinterSchool certificate will be awarded upon completion of the program. The 3-week course combined with a preparation phase is allocated with 10 Credits in accordance with the European Credit Transfer System ECTS.

Target Groups
The course is focussed on students in architecture graduated with bachelor degree from a school of architecture.

860 Euro including accomodation and full board every day. Travel costs are not included.

Applicants are advised to contact the Winter School until 8th December 2017. Places will only be reserved on receipt of a deposit of 150 Euro (non-refundable). The number of participants is limited. Applicants will be considered according to the order of application. Registration also requires to send in a CV along with the Entry Application Form.
