The university library is the academic information center of the TU Munich and offers services to support students, scientists and university staff in their studies, research and teaching. Alongside the 1.7 million publications and more than 6000 magazines in the field of architecture, engineering, social sciences and natural sciences, the library offers a range of environments for learning and studying as well as practical assistance and training courses run by the library staff. The university library is continually expanding its services and international profile.
- All databases that are available through the TUM network can be found in our Database Infosystem DBIS. The university library can provide an introduction to using database research tools. Please contact your subject librarian for further information.
- Students and staff may publish their dissertations and doctorates on a dedicated URL using our mediaTUM media server. The service is free.
- Our in-house article delivery service dokumenTUM is a free document delivery service for essays with a guaranteed delivery time of maximum 2 workdays.
- The library provides competent assistance in putting together and managing reference collections for semester projects.
- The library publishes the TUM Yearbook. Contributions for the yearbook can be submitted online.
- Subject-specific databases for architecture, civil engineering and geodesy are available via the online DBIS system.
- The Electronic Journals Library (EZB) is an online service for searching for articles in electronic journals grouped by subject. Architectural journals that are either freely available on the internet or for which the TUM has licensed access can be found by consulting the Architecture and Civil Engineering list in the EZB.

- Electronic dissertations and doctoral papers created at the TUM Faculty of Architecture.
- The library offers introductory courses, subject-specific training and guided tours at the beginning of the semester. Full details of dates and times are available here.
